The two themes of this display campaign were selecting a gift that is great for everyone on your list and using smart home technology to keep an eye on your secret gift hiding spot. The display ads worked in conjunction with a multi-channel campaign including email and Facebook, but display was the primary source for propelling consumer impressions. Display drove 51% of the campaign impressions, had an average click through rate of 0.14% and a click-to-conversion rate of 9%.

Best Use of Animation - See's Candies

See’s Candies has been satisfying America’s sweet tooth for almost one hundred years. The timeless brand retains its status as one of the most trusted and well-loved candy makers in the world by surprising and delighting customers and consistently offering high quality treats and top-notch customer service. To drive consumers into stores, See’s created an email featuring eye-catching animated lollipops to promote a special in-store giveaway for National Lollipop Day. Customers who visited the stores on the holiday were treated to free lollipops and online and instore customers were offered special pricing on select lollipops. The whimsical email generated a 69% increase in clicks over the previous year’s deployment for the holiday, a 23% increase in unique click rate, and a 25% increase in click-to-open rate.
