As a follow-up to their email welcome series, American Intercontinental University sends a special email campaign for those subscribers who had low activity during their introductory phase. Audience members with lower engagement are given additional nurturing with a goal of growing knowledge about the university and providing information that appeals to today’s busy students. This campaign drove an average open rate that was 45% higher than the education industry average, and an average click-through rate that was in line with industry averages.
